Regardless of shape, size or style…a saree looks great on every woman.

We have seen a huge lifestyle shift and culture change, where we accepted the western wardrobe graciously and have made tremendous advancement towards experimenting pretty much all the styles we see on the international magazine and yet, a SAREE somehow always fits in, stays perfectly in trend and will always do.

Through different generations, it has been worn in so many different styles.

And, I would say, that’s the best part! Let’s get creative and add in a streak of our own style to the blouses!

A saree is the trendiest wear for girls! It looks more comfortable and stylish for women. However, the blouse is what makes or the breaks the perfect saree look. It’s is the vital element of the saree look. Every year we are blessed with new saree blouse designs. Here, we have a shirt blouse that is draped with an indigo-dyed saree. The abstract elements on the blouse makes it trendier as by combining both traditional and fusion elements.

Here are some of the looks that I found really interesting!

Pradaini Surva, fashion model.

A Sheath turtleneck top, with an illusion neckline that just grabs the look of this simple and elegant cotton saree to the next level. The waist belt and the shoes add an extra fusion vibe to the look!

You Need To Check Out Sabyasachi’s New Collection Which Is Perfect For Summer Brides!

Sabyasachi’s  Fiza – Spring Summer 2019 collection has made us go wowww! Everything from the silhouettes to the cuts, created over a series of adorable colour palettes, left us in awe! The exquisite jewellery, flowy embroidered fabrics and the strikingly shot collection have us glued to his Instagram profile, as he updated one post after another. We also noticed a freshness in styling and also, instead of going heavy on jewellery he switched to dainty but timeless pieces, super apt for summers. Is that an inception of a new trend?!  Whatever it may be, but it literally melted our weak hearts.

Indigo dyed Indo-western saree with a mustard embroidered shrug!

Taapse Pannu,Actor.

Taapse Pannu at one her recent movie promotions, wore a thin striped shirt blouse and saree. It came off too strong on her and I just found it overwhelming!

The tie and the bindi just make it look effortlessly stylish yet traditional!

Why did you choose a career in politics?

In today’s political landscape, motherhood is often deployed as a tool to highlight the ‘sacred’ nature of a subject, ranging from the gau mata to Bharat mata and Ganga mata. At the same time, issues around women’s rights and empowerment, varying from triple talaq to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, are regular topics of conversation in political circles. But an important question remains: In a country like India with around 49 per cent of women in the population, why is the political participation of women so low?

History has stood witness to the brilliance of women in politics, time and again. From Marie Antoinette to Queen Elizabeth, women across the world have often held the political scepter firmly in their hands whenever needed.

Today, equal participation of men and women is not only a prerequisite for justice and democracy; it is an inevitable condition for harmonious human existence as well. Effective representation of women in decision-making structures will have a bearing on the policies, vision and structure of institutions. And that’s something everyone should be fighting for

She is the director of the company “Deez Creations” that manufactures readymade high end garments. Her reputation as a designer & fashion Stylist precedes itself. The lady behind the charming looks, the master herself in domestic market as well as exports, Reema with her exceptional and unique style has reached audiences in a range of mediums, from fashion to corporate events, fashion shows, fashion & beauty pageants shows to magazine covers & news papers!

According to her, children are her biggest inspiration. She leads a beautiful journey from being a simple housewife to the Director of her company.
What is the inspiration behind your designs?
Creativity & inspiration is all around us. Fashion for me is the comfort in our own skin. I design Indian ,western & Indo westerns for the daily lifestyles & comforts. While designing the outfits, colors & prints play a pivotal role. For each and every design & collection there’s a serious amount of hard work, sleepless nights and true dedication behind it. You really have to work hard to make your dreams turn into reality. The background of my exports in garments had always pushed me hard towards the domestic work too . Indian Traditional garments line has always been my favorite . The world of fashion has a long and varied artistic history. Trends change on a seasonal basis and often reflect the overall sentiment of culture at any given time. Taking inspiration from both modern and historical fashion is a great way to infuse something new and fresh in designing!
Challenges faced while setting business & brand?
Well, every field requires dreams and dedication to fulfill it! See it to achieve it. Lots of planning, patience & persistence is required for making dreams come true.
Setting up an entire unit, good machines, skilled labour & perfect quality with new designs to be given every season is all required. Nothing comes easy but a sheer dedication can surely make all dream into real.
My husband’s support was the biggest support with me while handling my house, kids & my work simultaneously!
Branding is art,  it’s trial and error and it’s crafting something new and different. When a company has a lot of money and an established fan base, branding looks one way. For a small business with limited resources and a small staff, branding looks a lot different. Deliberate and planned brand strategies are primarily responsible for making businesses successful. For small business, brand strategies pose larger challenges. There is no plug-in formula that makes sure a business is successful. My brand & my work is a promise made to the customers that lets them know what they can expect from our designs and what makes us stand out from the rest.
Especially my brand “Showsstyle” & our company “ Deez Creations” from 22 years is a promise to customer to choose us over and over for quality of manufacturing & designing in readymade high end lifestyles garments. In all these years, we did manufacture from big international brands like Zara, Mango, Dockers, Bershka, H&M , Motherhood, Lindex & many more to well reputed famous domestic famous brand lines! And our own brand like “Turquoise”earlier & “ShowsStyle” as newly launched brand Now !!
What are your plans for the future?
Setting up the showrooms of my own brand “Showstyle” & to give customers the best of designs. As garments are our second skin, one should look good & confident.
The intent makes it happen. If one is determined to do something, analyzing how tough it is going to be, might just get you off the starting line. What is important is an honest intent, backed with the perseverance to make it happen, no matter what. Nothing in life worth having comes easy.
What do you think are the keys to professional and business success for women in India?
The phenomenon of women entrepreneurship in India is not new. You will see dearth of women entrepreneurs in lifestyle businesses like beauty, fashion, gems & jewels, education, food, logistics, social enterprises. They have just been outside of the radar of the new-age definition of startup entrepreneurs. The fact that women in India are ready to play a new game in business. I believe any woman in business faces the same challenges and is driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit. The difference lies in the sport they choose amongst the vast selection in business – and that decides the rules of the game. Here’s my Hifi to all the women preparing to grow and build in this new arena. Pick the dreams with courage & master the rules .
What advice would you give to young women readers who want to follow a similar career path as you?
You don’tget what you wish for. You get what you work for. So Never ever give up your dreams rather give up your fears.
Every great dream begins with a dream. Always remember you have within you the strength ,the patience & the passion to reach for the stars to change from your world to the world outside.
Keep going ✌️
What sparked your interest in fashion?
I have been interested in fashion since I was little. I always enjoyed playing with my Barbies, creating new outfit combinations for them and sketching designs.
After my high school & graduation, I did my degree in Fashion & Textiles designing. Colors & styles always inspired me to bring something new in designing. My company Deez Creations manufactures lifestyle clothing And under “Showstyle” brand, multiple designs are there in the domestic market .
Things you love about running your own business?
I love the creative freedom and independence I have every day. I love the energy I get daily from following my passion. I have hard days but at the end of the day I feel very empowered that I was able to stick it out and follow a path I truly love.
What challenges did you face when launching your brand?
All your dreams can come true if you have a vision to see beyond. All you have to put is your heart & soul in it. And Never ever give up!
