“I always felt that the décor and styling done at these parties could have been done in a much better way. I had so many ideas in my mind and I wanted to see them turn into reality. From here on I took baby steps and started doing décor for close friends and family.”

My fashion motto?

I feel fashion fades but style is eternal. Therefore keep it simple yet stylish.

3 words to describe my sense of style?

Classy, Elegant and Minimalistic.

My 5 essential wardrobe elements?

A well fitted blue denim with a crisp white shirt, a sexy black cocktail dress, nude platforms which can be paired with almost anything, sexy black stilettos are a  absolute must and an elegant blazer with classic black pants.

One thing that most people don’t know about me?

That I don’t diet at all. I eat healthy and I workout. People need to understand that being healthy is a lifestyle and it cannot be achieved by following fad diets.

You wouldn’t catch me wearing?

Bell bottoms.

My favourite party attire?

Any outfit that looks effortlessly stylish with just a touch of bling.

The worst trend to ever become popular is?

“Crop tops” and “ugg’s” are two things that are completely beyond me.

The first thing I notice about people?

I like people who smile and look me in the eyes when they make a conversation. It shows a sense of confidence and sincerity.

My style secret?

“Less is more” so keep it sexy and simple. Spice it up with a statement piece. Also a hydrating face mask before a night out adds that extra glow to your skin.

The best fashion advice I have ever received?

That “short does not necessarily mean sexy”. One can look equally sensuous in a beautifully draped saree.

If I could go back to any fashion era in history, the one I would choose is?

The 50’s. The pencil skirts became hugely popular in this era. The fashion in this era was very elegant, lady like and stylish. Jackie Kennedy being a perfect example of that.

At the end of the day, what would you want your wardrobe to say about you?

I like my wardrobe to have a timeless quality to it. I like buying statement pieces. Clothes to me are like friends, you want quality not quantity.

I’m waiting to splurge on?

 The Bvlgari Serpenti watch.
