What sparked your interest in fashion?
For as long as I can remember, I always knew I wanted to do my own thing. Performing arts and fashion were among my first passions and hobbies. I have always been fascinated and loved the power of clothing and the transformative quality of dressing up. So it had to be this sector for me!

What is the inspiration behind your designs?
My love for traveling, exploring different cultures and meeting new people always inspired me to create something new.
What are the key elements for you when designing a collection for each season?
I like to play around with my garments, be it with colours, fabrics or texturing but also keeping the wearability aspect in mind.

What are your plans for the future?
My plan is to make my brand more visible, around India. All designers wish to see their collection on the ramps of the best fashion weeks, even I want that.

What advice would you give to young women readers who want to follow a similar career path as you?
Love and be passionate about what you do and everything else will follow. Stop following rules and don’t get trapped in any kind of prejudice. Go beyond what you think you can do.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned since you started your company?
The biggest lesson I’ve learnt is pushing myself through self doubts and rejection, for they will certainly come. But also knowing when it’s time to re-direct. Re-boot. And then committing all over again.
